The public site covers sports, players, clubs, teams, competitions, leagues, news, transfers and search; signed-in members get a dashboard and role-based workspaces.
Sign in with your email and password; accounts with an authenticator app also enter a 6-digit code (or a recovery code). New accounts confirm their email with a 6-digit code.
Free covers your own profile, public discovery and comparison, news, basic notifications and Help. Professional adds recruitment discovery, the recruitment and scouting workspaces, intelligence comparison and Club Fit. Club / Organization adds organisation workspaces and requirements. Online payments are not live yet.
Every player has a permanent Phoenix Scout ID (for example PS-PLY-CMR-000001) issued by Phoenix Scout. It never changes, even when the profile is updated.
Football, basketball, volleyball and handball are the Core Sports. More sports are listed in the sports directory as active or planned. Positions, attributes and statistics always come from each sport’s own catalogue.
Open player discovery and choose the sport, then narrow with filters such as nationality, position, club, competition, availability and verification level.
A public Player Profile (at /player/ followed by the Phoenix Scout ID) shows the sections a published player’s privacy allows: overview, career, positions, statistics, national team, achievements, verification and provenance. Confidential sections appear only for authorised users.
Scouts use sport-specific templates: they score each attribute within its scale with a confidence, add notes, and submit a recommendation. The result is a weighted score under a named methodology — decision-support, not an objective fact.
Player DNA is Phoenix Scout’s profile of how a player plays (an archetype and profile), generated under a named methodology and shown with it. It is decision-support and is available to verified recruiters.
Club Fit estimates how well a player matches a club — ideally against one of the club’s recruitment requirements. It returns a score with confidence, methodology and the factors used, or “insufficient data” when there is not enough to assess.
Club recruiters create requirements, find candidates in recruitment discovery, and move each player through a case: Open → Discovery → Scouting → Shortlist → Contact → Negotiation → Due diligence → Approval → Completed (or Declined / Cancelled).
Compare up to four players side by side at /compare. Public comparison shows positions and verification; Phoenix Scout ratings and Player DNA appear only for recruiters with a plan that includes intelligence comparison.
Players move up a trust ladder: Unverified, Imported, Claimed, Self-verified, Document verified, Scout verified, Phoenix Scout verified. Imported records are never verified automatically; every step up is an authorised, audited decision.
Data has four privacy levels: Public, Network, Recruiter-only and Private. A player profile becomes public only with recorded consent, and minors are never shown publicly.
Labels tell you how far to trust a piece of data: Verified, Unverified, Pending, Source-confirmed, AI-generated, Human-reviewed or Requires review — with its source and when it was last updated.
News articles appear only after editorial review and show their source. Only confirmed transfers are shown; a rumour never becomes a confirmed transfer automatically.
The Live sports page and the ticker show real matches (live, recent results and upcoming), confirmed transfers, published news and upcoming events. They refresh about once a minute; when nothing is happening they say so.
Cameroon Sports groups the country’s football, basketball and handball competitions; each competition page shows its seasons, standings, fixtures, results, teams and news, with the source of every table. Its status line says whether data is available, upcoming, completed, delayed or live.
Commercial content is always labelled Partner, Sponsored or Advertisement and is never mixed with editorial news.
Ask Phoenix answers questions from Phoenix Scout Help. AI is not connected yet, so it never searches player records or invents results — it points you to the page where you can do it.
If Help does not answer your question — or you need a correction, a privacy request or account help — contact Phoenix Scout through the contact page.
